Night Club ‘Novos’ at the Phoenix Market city Kurla, Mumbai, India
The night club is the project that searches for the spatial dimension in audio art. Black mirror acoustic walls with black stretch reflective ceiling control the bounce of sound and lights and manifest the intersection of architecture, music, sound, and space.
Brass golden chain design with LED screen projection, presenting perceptions of the dynamically designed club. Composite white Onyx as a top of the bar lighted up giving horizontal alignment to space.
The modest volume of the club is amply magnified by surfaces that create multiple reflections and pulsate with synchronized light and sound.
Brass golden chains are cut to follow the seating zones of the club. Bras chains are suspended from the t.w framing. Ceiling- 12mm marine plywood ceiling with RGB Lighting inside the cove and 4mm thick veneer finished in black automotive paint.
Nightclubs are frequently the source of high noise levels requiring carefully considered acoustic treatment. The acoustic floating flooring is the first element we constructed. We lifted it to form an air gap and isolated from the existing structure through an LDS rubber. The walls of the structure are built upon this flooring and are only attached to the external walls through our special acoustic wall braces. The ceiling is suspended from acoustic hangers.
Acoustic isolation- Anti Vibration Graded Flute Rubber Floor Mounts
Composite white Onyx as a top of the bar lighted up giving horizontal alignment to space. Synchronized light and sound- kinetic ceiling including 20 kinetic mirror balls and LED lights.
Fumed oak black veneer for loose furniture and doors. The modest volume of the club is amply magnified by surfaces that create multiple reflections and pulsate with synchronized light and sound.
